One of the things I love about my current Scripture reading plan is that it has me in the Psalms every day. As Mondays can be especially bleary, this practice was particularly refreshing as I read Psalm 100 today. The joy of the psalmist was infectious, and I found myself smiling as I read and re-read it. For it is so reassuring to know that we are his.
Here's hoping it puts a smile on your face and joy in your soul as well.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
