Will You Stand Upon and Speak Divine Truth?

From David Platt:

...I want to call Christians to conviction. We live in a unique time in Western culture, when the moral landscape is rapidly changing. As a result, we have many opportunities to stand upon and speak divine truth. May we not let this moment pass.

From Martin Luther:

It is the truth which is assailed in any age which tests our fidelity...If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christianity.
Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proven, and to be steady on all the battle fronts besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.

From the Apostle Peter:

Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!
