A Sunday Morning Prayer, for Me, and for You

I don’t know about you, friend, but I’m feeling a little shaky this morning.
But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of Yahweh never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new this morning;
and his faithfulness is so great!

And so I am reminding myself, and you with me,
“Yahweh is our portion,” says my soul,
 “therefore I will hope in him.”

Yahweh is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of Yahweh.

So I wait, and I seek,
here on my knees this morning.
For you.
For me.
For every person streaming into church meeting houses this morning.

May every soul coming know the salvation of Yahweh,
in His Son,

I Love you, friend. Grace and Peace to you today.

(This is a prayer I said over some pastor-friends this morning, adapted from Lamentations 3.)

What If God Broke His Word?

Will You Stand Upon and Speak Divine Truth?
