She is a soulful, contemplative songwriter, and her music has been getting about 80% of my playlist time, helping me thoughtfully worship God. From a recent review in WORLD magazine:
Having grown weary of CCM's more market-driven expectations, this now-erstwhile Sparrow Records' star has gone Kickstarter-Campaign indie, the better to pursue what she considers her true calling: "to be a musician who writes songs for the church and for the faithful to use in prayer."
In laymen's terms, imagine what Sarah McLachlan might sound like were she to try following in John Michael Talbot's footsteps. In Kierkegaardian terms, imagine purity of heart - resulting from the willing of one thing - given free, worshipfully aesthetic rein.
I can't imagine a better way to describe her, and what she is doing for the church. Please do yourself a favor, and get on Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, and check her out.
Even better, if you live in Minnesota, you can check her out...LIVE! I am thrilled to announce that she will be at our church in just three weeks on November 9th, at 7:00pm.

Calvary is putting this concert on by ourselves, so we'd love your help getting the word out. Please share with your friends, FB post it, Tweet it, or you could even stop by the office to pick up a poster to hang someplace.
